Sensorimotor control of speech production: models and data
A theoretical, model-based overview of speech production is described in which the goals of phonemic speech movements are in auditory and somatosensory domains and the movements are controlled by a combination of feedback and feedforward mechanisms. Examples of experimental results are presented that provide support for the overview.

assigning premium to the insurance contract in iran mostly has based on some old rules have been authorized by government, in such a situation predicting premium by analyzing database and it’s characteristics will be definitely such a big mistake. therefore the most beneficial information one can gathered from these data is the amount of loss happens during one contract to predicting insurance ...
15 صفحه اولArticulatory methods for speech production and recognition
The past 15 years have seen dramatic improvements in the performance of computer algorithms which attempt to recognise human speech. The falling error rates achieved by the best speech recognition systems on limited tasks have recently enabled the development of a diverse range of applications which promise to have a signiicant impact on many aspects of society. Examples of these range from dic...
متن کاملComputational Models for Speech Production
Major speech production models from speech science literature and a number of popular statistical “generative” models of speech used in speech technology are surveyed. Strengths and weaknesses of these two styles of speech models are analyzed, pointing to the need to integrate the respective strengths while eliminating the respective weaknesses. As an example, a statistical task-dynamic model o...
متن کاملNeural models of speech production and speech acquisition
Neural models of sensorimotor control of speech production are rare. One current approach is the model given by Guenther (2006 and Guenther et al. 2006). Following the ideas of Guenther a comprehensive neural model of speech production using self-organizing neural networks can be given (Kröger et al. 2006a and 2006b). Both approaches simulate early processes of speech acquisition (babbling and ...
